OUR STORY

 

As the founder of Emmie May I have worked in childcare for seven years and have loved watching how children interact with their toys and what they like.

As a child I was always interested in sewing and creating new things and toys for myself. Now as an adult I am excited to share those with others. 

​

The Emmie May Rag Doll is a simple design with geometric shapes and patchwork designs to add something different to your everyday rag doll. The 5 sensory tags of thin and thick ribbon and lace down the body of each of our dolls is a great stimulation for the growing child and also an aesthetic design to be enjoyed by adults as well.

Every child and sometimes every adult needs a sweet rag doll in their life and an Emmie May Rag Doll is the perfect addition to any tea party, bedroom, living room or office space. They add a sense of warmth and comfort to any room they are in.

Our goal is to provide a warming presence to each household and child's life to which an Emmie May Rag Doll enters. While simultaneously helping children and families in need with a $5 per standard doll donation to a children's charity.
